Emptying Procedure Pictures

1) Urinal tube is disconnected, top is unclamped, raised and latched up. Vent fan remains on. Gasket surfaces are wiped down of any condensation.

2) Manure is either buried under mulch around ornamentals directly, incorporated into a compost pile or left in the tank and covered for additional composting. Urine tank is emptied as needed and used diluted on any type of garden.

3) Tank is hosed out if desired, then dried.

4) A 2-3" bed of chips is added to tank.

5) Tank is reinstalled, clamped in and urine hose reattached. During hot weather, composting mode users may want to spray insecticide or diatomaceous earth in toilet before closing up.

Average emptying time is 25 minutes.
